K-12: Other Foundation Grants

1.  RGK Foundation Grant

Description: The RGK Foundation awards grants to programs that focus on formal K-12 education (particularly math, science, and reading), teacher development, literacy, and higher education.   

Eligibility: Non-profit organizations certified as tax exempt.

To Apply: To begin, all applicants must complete a Letter of Inquiry from the foundation's website.

2.  Tiger Woods Foundation

Description: The Tiger Woods Foundation provides grants that focus on providing opportunities to underserved children and families in the four program areas: education, youth development, parenting, and family health and welfare. In the education area, the foundation funds school programs and projects that enhance the learning process for children and transitional school programs for young adults to become productive adults.

Eligibility: Organizations must be tax exempt (under Section 501).

To Apply: Complete application online.

Award Amount: Varies - grants usually range between $2,500 and $25,000

Deadline: February 1st, May 1st, August 1st, and November 1st of each year.
