Sr. Director, Software Engineering/Architecture & Quality Assurance
Gildas Cadin directs a software engineering team that develops and maintains the ALEKS learning management system architecture (also called the ALEKS Instructor Module). His team works closely with User Experience to develop and integrate new management features for instructors and administrators while also maintaining the current system. Additionally, he works with ALEKS Customer Support and ALEKS Advanced Customer Solutions to troubleshoot problems reported by users.
In 2000, Mr. Cadin joined ALEKS as a Software Engineer and rose through the ranks as a Software Specialist, a Senior Software and Technical Quality Assurance Manager, and a Senior Technical Quality Assurance Manager and Software Architect before being appointed as Software Engineering Director in 2013.
Mr. Cadin holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur (MS degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering) from L’École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne in Brest, France.
